Privacy policy

LumpSum is a free comparison tool for cash advance apps. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it, in plain language.

What we collect

Nothing, for most visitors. Using the comparison tool and calculator requires no account, no email, and no personal information. The calculator runs entirely in your browser; the amounts you enter are not sent to us.
Anonymous survey submissions. If you choose to share your approval and fee numbers through the "Share your numbers" form, we collect only what the form asks: the app name, dollar amounts, how long you had used the app, and an optional note. We do not ask for and do not want your name, email, bank details, or account information. Please do not include personal details in the note field.
Standard hosting logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to serve the site and prevent abuse, per their own privacy policy.

What we do with submissions

Anonymous submissions are combined into aggregate statistics, such as average approval amounts by app. We may publish or license those aggregated, anonymized statistics. Individual submissions are never sold or shared.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on LumpSum are affiliate links, which may earn us a commission if you sign up with an app. Rankings and comparisons are based only on the fee math and are never influenced by payment or by whether an app has an affiliate program. Affiliate networks and the apps themselves may use cookies or tracking on their own sites once you leave ours, governed by their policies.

Cookies

LumpSum itself does not set tracking cookies.

Age

LumpSum is intended for adults 18 and over and is not directed at children.
